We are actively recruiting for Quality Inspector candidates for a temp to hire opportunity with this client.

3rd Shift: 10pm-6am Sun-Thur
Pay: $15-$20 DOE with possible shift differentials

Quality Inspector Job Description:
Quality Inspector is responsible for the following key accountabilities:
• Inspect and record all parts at specified frequencies, with specified lot size, in accordance with approved Quality Control procedures with calibrated gages and measuring devise to ascertain quality
• Operation of coordinate measuring machine and other precision measuring devices such as the optical comparator, bench micrometer, standard gages, height master, profilometer concentricity/roundness checker, etc.
• Perform audit of warehouse to ensure product is properly packed, identified and stored as required
• Inspect and approve first piece production on any new set-ups
• Maintain records of inspection for layout of new and/or repaired tools
• Perform CMM dimensional inspection of fixtures and gages for calibration purposes
• Prepare alloy samples for analysis
• Consult with the Quality Supervisor or the Quality Engineer on any matters pertaining to the quality of product or processes
• Ensure all parts to be inspected are properly tagged and sent to the designed holding areas
• Maintain files as per prescribed by work instructions and procedures
• Maintain condition of inspection equipment
• Inspection of incoming component parts, fixtures and tools
• Create complex programs using the CAD model

Quality Inspector Job Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge with personal computers
• Understand concepts of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing and part inspection
• Previous experience in operation of manual CMM, or demonstrate ability to be trained in operation of CMM
